Today went to shoprite. Had to check out at customer service because items I was buying had to be over written on price. When I got there Muhanad at the register decided he didn't want to be helpful in anyway. I told him about the price change he went to pick up a flyer to show me he doesn't see it. Then I explain it was set up my management his answer was that manager wasn't working today so I probably won't get the price. Mind you I never said any managers name. Then when called manager on duty he was told to give me the price. Which seamed to really piss him off. Then he saw I had other items with me many but small items he counted them even the 10 single chocolate bars and told me too many items he will not ring them up. I need to have less items so I then said ok then I'll only buy this few amount so I'm not over the limit for customer service where I didn't see a limit listed. Then he got more pissed off that I'm making him work harder because he will have to put back the items. I said then why not let me buy them when you told me your not going to ring them up. So I asked to speak to manager. While waiting he was very rude telling me too bad he doesn't have to help me and I should go get in line at other registers. Yelled at me that he's a human being. Mind you I didn't yell at him I didn't use any curse words nothing that would give reason to go off on a customer at customer service. Manager finally came over said yes that's a lot of items but ring him up so we don't continue arguing ( nice right). So Muhanad decided every frozen bag item I have that he would smack it down on counter after ringing up each item. Manager stood and watch said nothing. When I asked him about the rudeness and the harassing he said he will talk to him about it. But addressed nothing at the time of what he was doing in front of him. People do not want to be harassed when they go for groceries especially at customer service??
Nice strip mall. Has a ShopRite to meet all of your grocery needs along with many other local stores/small businesses. Halter's is a great high end bike shop. Thomas sweet has fabulous ice cream, and I would have to recommend Sahara for dinner. This mall has everything from a movie theatre, to restaurants, to a drug store.
ShopRite is the anchor store here with some other steady stores including Rite Aid and Tuesday Morning. A Massage Envy and Thomas Sweets cafe have been here for a while now too. Some of the other stores seem to change every few years. There's Montgomery Cinemas, which tries to play art movies. And there's another big shopping plaza across the street and WaWa on the corner. All and all, a little something for everyone.
small shopping area easy to pass on route 206. It has a small movie theater, several great restaurants, a chocolate shop and shop rite. My destination at lunchtime for errands
The Shop Rite supermarket is one of the best...though I usually go there to attend the Montgomery cinema, one of the few that shows grown-up movies in this part of New Jersey.
